            Charles University is currently home to more than 56.000 students. We offer more than 600 

            programmes in 630 fields. More than 24,000 undergraduates are studying Bachelor's degrees,
            24.000 students are in Master's programmes, and 8.000 in doctoral programmes.

            Some degree programmes enable our students to combine two different fields of study, even 
            faculties. Students taking Bachelor's or Master's courses receive credits according to the

            credit system, which is in full accordance with the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS)
            system enables students to choose and attend lectures and seminars from other fields than 
            major, including courses taught at other faculties. This reinforces the varied, interdisci

            education offered at Charles University, facilitating cross-curricular links and promoting
            between partner institutions.
