In the 2012–2013 academic year more than 1,30 students studied at 17 university faculties as part of the exchange programme, putting Cha in 7th place amongst the thousands of universities taking part in the Erasmus programme, a figures published by the European Commission. The greatest level of interest in study at Charles University was shown by students from G Spain and Poland. Students most often study at the CU Faculties of Arts and Law, the 1st F Medicine and the Faculty of Social Sciences, with languages, political science, history, e medicine and geography being the most popular subjects. In the last academic year the Erasmus programme saw almost 270,000 students and more than travel abroad. As in the past, Czech students most frequently went to study in Germany, Fr and Great Britain. The greatest number of foreign students at Czech universities came from Turkey, Poland, Slovakia and Germany.
