CU looking for period documents for 1939 and 1989 anniversary exhibition

            Charles University is preparing an exhibition to mark the 75th anniversary of 17 November 

            anniversary of November 1989, and is asking the public for help in gathering photographs a
            documents from these times and which relate to Charles University.
            Charles University is seeking, for the purposes of its exhibition, photographs, films and 

            during the events of November in these years, as well as posters, leaflets, student magazi
            authentic documents and items, with the exception of newspapers and other commonly availab
            Documents will be accepted by the Charles University Archive up to 31 August 2014. The pro

            event that anyone wishes to retain their photographs or videos, the Charles University Arc
            copy them. Donated documents will be stored in the Charles University Archive, where they 

            by experts and made available to researchers.
            With a view to the possible further use of donated photographs and audiovisual materials p
            copyright, donors will be asked to grant their consent to the use of their materials for s

            research and exhibition purposes and their possible future publication on a website devote
            anniversaries.
