            Center pořádá česko-americkou konferenci s názvem Value and Quality in Health Care: Czech 
            Perspectives.

            Konferenci zahájí rektorka Univerzity Karlovy profesorka Milena Králíčková spolu s prezide
            Hospital Medical Center Susan Moffatt-Bruce.

            První část konference se bude zabývat problematikou zvýšení efektivity a kvality (nejen) č

            zdravotnictví. Konference usiluje o komplexní a interdisciplinární pojetí této problematik
            tak budou prezentovány inovace v lékařském vzdělávání. Dále budou představeny způsoby měře
            zdravotnických systémů v kontextu zdraví populace. Dalším bodem konference budou ekonomick

            předpokládají zvýšení efektivity a kvality ve zdravotnictví. Představeny budou i poznatky 
            roli hrají samotní lékaři v procesu zvyšování kvality a efektivity zdravotnických systému.

            Druhá část akce bude věnována novým vědeckým poznatkům v neurologii. Konkrétně budou preze
            nejnovější poznatky z oborů nervosvalových onemocnění, neurointenzivní péče, poruch hybnos
            neurodegenerativních onemocnění a kognitivní neurologie.

            Cílem konference, kde budou přednášet odborníci z českých a amerických institucí, je naváz
            mezinárodní spolupráce, která má dále vést ke zkvalitnění zdravotnické péče a rozvoji zdra
            systémů českých na amerických vzdělávacích a lékařských institucí.

            Konference je určena zejména pro akademiky, lékaře, ekonomy, politiky, vrcholové manažery

            CU hosts Conference Value and Quality in Health Care: Czech and American Perspectives


            Prague, 9. 10. 2023 – On Tuesday, October 10, 2023, Charles University in collaboration wi
            & Medical Center will host a Czech-American conference entitled Value and Quality in Healt

            American Perspectives.

            The conference will be opened by Milena Králíčková, Rector of Charles University, together

            Moffatt-Bruce, President of Lahey Hospital Medical Center.
            The first part of the conference will deal with the issue of increasing the efficiency and
            (not only) Czech healthcare system. The conference aims at a comprehensive and interdiscip

            to this issue. Firstly, innovations in medical education will be presented. Next, ways of 
            the quality of healthcare systems in the context of population health will be presented. F
            the conference will focus on economic aspects that may lead to an increase in efficiency a

            healthcare systems. Insights into the role that physicians themselves play in the process 
            quality and efficiency of health systems will also be presented. Finally, the importance o
            accreditation of medical students and hospital facilities will be discussed.


            The second part of the event will be devoted to new scientific findings in neurology. Spec
            the latest findings in the fields of neuromuscular diseases, neurointensive care, mobility

            neurodegenerative diseases and cognitive neurology will be presented.

            The conference is intended especially for academics, physicians, economists, policy makers

            in the healthcare sector and university students. At the end of each part of the conferenc
            space for discussion and exchange of ideas.


            The conference will feature lectures by experts from Czech and American institutions. The 
            conference is to establish close international cooperation between Czech and American educ
            medical institutions, which should further lead to the improvement of health care and the 

            health care systems.
