Queer pedagogies here and now: Teaching queer studies at the intersection of global and ****************************************************************************************** * ****************************************************************************************** Number: MA/25/F2/0/023 Flagship: 2 - Europeanness: multilingualism, pluralities, citizenship Faculty: FF Project leader: Šebek, Josef This project strengthens the 4EU+ network of scholars in queer and gender studies by focus pedagogies. Building on the mini-grant Representing Same-Sex Desire, it addresses the need and translate the diversity of European traditions in queer and gender studies within the dominant globalised canons. Through a series of events culminating in the February 2026 sy Prague, the project will create a shared knowledge base, exchange teaching practices and i innovative methods into university courses across the alliance. The initiative brings together colleagues from Charles University, Sorbonne University, th of Copenhagen, the University of Milan, the University of Warsaw, Université Paris-Panthéo Université de Gen?ve, with CEFRES Prague as an associated partner. Activities include five two strategic workshops, the launch of the MA programme Gender and Sexuality at the Univer and an online PhD conference. The focus is on building a durable research and teaching net exchanges of academics and students, and promoting equality, diversity and inclusion. The project will consolidate collaboration between multiple institutions, enable mobility and early career scholars, and develop comprehensive joint projects in the field. By combi from literature, history, philosophy and cultural studies, it will contribute to the 4EU+ 2035, foster interdisciplinary dialogue, and support the development of a common research- framework in queer and gender studies.
