            Univerzita s velkým znepokojením sleduje aktuální vývoj na Blízkém východě. Události posle
            mají dopad i na Univerzitu Karlovu, protože zasahují nejen některé naše studující, ale i z

            a zaměstnance. Chtěl bych ujistit všechny členky a členy naší univerzitní komunity, že nej
            situaci sami. Univerzita je připravena v rámci svých možností nabídnout podporu všem, kteř
            děním zasaženi – ať už prostřednictvím psychosociálního a studijního poradenství či indivi

            řešení studijních povinností. S konkrétními možnostmi pomoci osloví v následujících dnech 
            jednotlivé fakulty a součásti UK. Univerzita zůstává místem otevřeného dialogu, respektu a

            solidarity. V této náročné době je důležité, abychom k sobě přistupovali s empatií, porozu
            rozdílným zkušenostem i názorům.

            * Statement by the Rector of Charles University on the current situation in the Middle Eas

            The University is following the latest developments in the Middle East with deep concern. 

            recent days have also affected Charles University, as they impact not only some of our stu
            some of our employees. I would like to assure all members of our university community that
            alone in this situation. The University is prepared to offer support within its capabiliti

            affected by current events, whether through psychosocial and study counselling or individu
            academic obligations. In the coming days, the individual faculties and departments of Char
            will contact those affected directly with specific offers of assistance. The University re

            open dialogue, respect, and mutual solidarity. In these challenging times, it is essential
            each other with empathy, understanding, and respect for different experiences and perspect
