Dvě nová strategická partnerství na Tchaj-wanu pro Univerzitu Karlovu

            Tchaj-pej, 3. 6. 2026 - Univerzita Karlova dnes rozšířila seznam svých strategických partn
            tchajwanské univerzity – National Taiwan University (NTU) a National Chengchi University (

            podpisem tato partnerství stvrdil prorektor Karel Kouba, který na Tchaj-wanu vede skupinu 
            rámci delegace předsedy Senátu Parlamentu ČR Miloše Vystrčila.


            Strategické partnerství s oběma univerzitami přináší nové možnosti spolupráce nejen v akad
            studentských mobilitách, ale i ve financování společných vědeckých projektů. „Strategická 

            nejen cestou, jak rozšířit spolupráci na další studijní programy a fakulty Univerzity Karl
            rozvoj ambicióznějších forem spolupráce do budoucna, jako jsou společné mezinárodní studij

            Posílení spolupráce s NTU a NCCU je dalším pokračováním partnerství s tchajwanskými univer
            sdílíme společné hodnoty nejen ve vzdělávací a vědecké oblasti. Zároveň se tím Univerzita 
            své strategie internacionalizace jednoznačně hlásí k rozšiřování svých klíčových partnerů 

            univerzitami v rámci celého světa. Dosud byly strategickými partnerskými univerzitami UK t
            University of Zurich (Švýcarsko), Macquarie University (Sydney, Austrálie) a University of
            (Fife, Skotsko, Velká Británie). Dnešním podpisem se k těmto třem přidávají dvě tchajwansk


            NTU je nejlépe hodnocenou tchajwanskou univerzitou v mezinárodních žebříčcích, v aktuálním
            University Rankings jí náleží 63. pozice mezi světovými univerzitami. Se svými 17 fakultam

            široké spektrum oborů jako Univerzita Karlova. NCCU je významnou univerzitou primárně v ob
            a společenských věd a se 4 fakultami UK (FSV, PF, FF a PřF) intenzivně spolupracuje mimo j
            projektu výzkumu odolnosti dodavatelských řetězců v polovodičovém průmyslu.


            Univerzita Karlova dlouhodobě spolupracuje s tchajwanskými univerzitami, což dosvědčuje ce
            celouniverzitní úrovni a dalších 7 smluv zaměřených na mezifakultní spolupráci.

            * Two New Strategic Partnerships in Taiwan for Charles University

            Taipei, June 3, 2026 – Charles University today expanded its list of strategic partners to
            Taiwanese universities: National Taiwan University (NTU) and National Chengchi University 
            partnerships were formalized by Vice-Rector Karel Kouba, who is leading a group of Charles

            representatives in Taiwan as part of a delegation headed by Miloš Vystrčil, President of t
            Parliament of the Czech Republic.


            The strategic partnerships with both universities open up new opportunities for collaborat
            in academic and student mobility but also in funding joint research projects. “Strategic p
            are not only a way to expand cooperation to other study programs and faculties at Charles 

            they will also enable the development of more ambitious forms of cooperation in the future
            international study programs or research projects,” added Vice-Rector for Accreditation an
            Education Karel Kouba.


            Strengthening cooperation with NTU and NCCU is a further continuation of our partnership w
            universities, with whom we share common values not only in the fields of education and res

            the same time, as part of its internationalization strategy, Charles University is clearly
            to expanding its network of key partners among prestigious universities worldwide. Until n
            University’s strategic partner universities have included three institutions: the Universi

            (Switzerland), Macquarie University (Sydney, Australia), and the University of St Andrews 
            United Kingdom). With today’s signing, two Taiwanese universities are joining these three.


            NTU is the highest-ranked Taiwanese university in international rankings; in the current e
            QS World University Rankings, it holds the 63rd position among the world’s universities. W
            faculties, it covers a similarly broad spectrum of disciplines as Charles University. NCCU

            university primarily in the humanities and social sciences and, together with four Charles
            faculties (FSV, PF, FF, and PřF), is collaborating intensively on, among other things, a j
            project on the resilience of supply chains in the semiconductor industry.


            Charles University has a long-standing collaboration with Taiwanese universities, as evide
            of 9 agreements at the university-wide level and an additional 7 agreements focused on int

            cooperation.
