Na Univerzitu Karlovu putují dva ERC granty: jeden na porozumění keltských literatur, druhý ke zlepšení paměti počítačů ****************************************************************************************** * ****************************************************************************************** English see below [ URL "UK-16014.html#2"] Praha 3. září 2026 – Dva prestižní evropské ERC Starting Granty získali vědci z Univerzity Johana Poncarová (FF UK) a Ian William Mertz (MFF UK). V grantové soutěži ERC Starting Grant uspěla literární vědkyně Petra Johana Poncarová, mez respektovaná odbornice na moderní skotskou literaturu, z Ústavu anglofonních literatur a k fakulty UK. Petra Johana Poncarová a Ian William Mertz přesvědčili hodnotitel svých myšlenek a důsledným zpracováním projektů. Všem řešitelům i těm, kteří zatím financování svých projektů z prostře chloupek nedosáhli, patří velký dík.” • Mgr. The goal of STRAPS is to link the field of catalytic computing with the traditional study bounded algorithms. "This recent breakthrough has reinforced our belief that studying full unlocking the most fundamental problems in the field. We also aim to understand when thes be utilized in practical settings where a lack of memory is obstructing progress, such AI, and modern quantum devices," says Ian Mertz.
