Postdoctoral position in Quantum Information / Quantum Thermodynamics

The Postdoctoral positions available in the group of Quantum Information and Thermodynamics group led by Dominik Šafránek (www.dominiksafranek.com) to develop a new method of quantum tomography based on quantum Bayes’ theorem. Smaller secondary projects within the area of quantum thermodynamics are also possible. The applicants should have demonstrated either strong analytical skills or strong programming skills (any combination of Mathematica, Python, Julia and Qiskit especially welcome) and experience in Quantum Information or related fields. Creative mind, ability to work both independently and within a team, and interest in or knowledge of experimental platforms (such as trapped ions, photonic systems, etc.) is a plus.


The project will be funded by Dr. Šafránek grants Junior Star 25-17250M.
