The position is funded by the ERC Starting Grant eWaveShaper (101039339). The position is offered for one year with the possibility of extension for another year if both parties are interested. The candidate will work in the group of associate prof. Martin Kozák. The main focus of the work will be the development of theory and numerical simulations of the interaction of shaped electron beams with matter and their scattering. The candidate will also participate in ultrafast electron diffraction experiments and interpretation of experimental data. |

| Qualification and Other Requirements: | Ph.D. in physics, experience with numerical calculations and theory of particle scattering. |
