The position is funded by the ERC Starting Grant eWaveShaper (101039339). The position is offered for one year with the possibility of extension for another year if both parties are interested. The candidate will work in the group of Doc. Martin Kozák. The main focus of the work will be to work on experiments focused on interaction between electrons and photons and application of ultrafast electron microscopy and diffraction in material science for investigation of dynamical phenomena on nanoscale. |

| Qualification and Other Requirements: | Ph.D. in physics, experience with electron microscopy beyond routine imaging (knowledge of the principles of operation of individual parts of the microscope, ability to set it up and adjust it) and/or experience with the preparation and performance of complex time-resolved laser spectroscopy experiments (pump-probe method or similar). |
