Ph.D. degree or equivalent (at most 10 years ago, excluding maternity leave, etc.) in a relevant area, international recognition and excellent track record in mathematics (at, or just below, the level of successful ERC applicants), long-term foreign experience (optimally 3 years abroad during or after PhD), at least 3 years of postdoctoral experience elsewhere than the PhD granting university, exceptions are possible in cases of parental leave or long-term sickness, Positive attitude towards pedagogical work, ability to integrate scientific activities, teaching and supervision of student theses, including training of doctoral students. Basic communication in Czech language after four years period is expected.

Candidates who progress to the second round of the selection procedure will be invited to an interview. The interview may be conducted by means of information and communication technology if justified, at the request of the candidate. The Committee may invite selected candidates to give a lecture to the academic community of the Faculty.
