The Department of Algebra offers a position for an academic researcher to work on a project in the field of artificial intelligence and automated reasoning in mathematics. The position also includes teaching one course (typically 2 hours per week) each semester. |

| Qualification and Other Requirements: | Attainment of a Ph.D. degree or its equivalent in the relevant field, several years of experience at foreign universities, scholarly publications in mathematics and experience with development and applications of AI tools. |
| Required education: | Ph.D., CSc, Th.D. or comparable education abroad |
| Required language skills: | English - B2 Independent User |
| Employment Type and Scope: | Full time employment, 40 hours per week |
| Expected Start Date: | May 01, 2026 or negotiable |
| Duration of Contract: | 3 years |
