The position is financed by the project New Technologies for Translational Research in Pharmaceutical Sciences /NETPHARM, Project No.: CZ.02.01.01/00/22_008/0004607, within the Operation Programme Johannes Amos Comenius (OP JAK), P 1: Research and Development, SO 1.1: Developing and enhancing research and innovation capacities and deploying advanced technologies,

Responsibilities:
  • Independent performance of the research activities in the relevant field,
  • immediate escalation of any identified risks to a superior position,
  • design, organization of work, planning and execution of experiments for VZ1, publication of scientific results,
  • development and implementation of new methods for biological sample preparation prior to analysis, development and validation of separation methods for use in pharmaceutical analysis and bioanalysis,
  • presentation and publication of the achieved results on an international level,
  • participation in key project activities with an emphasis on application potential.

The estimated monthly wage: 47 250 CZK (1.0 FTE)

The start of work: 1 October 2026, or can be negotiated

Type of employment contract: for 1 year, with the expectation that the contract will be extended until 29 February 2028.

Employment: part-time (0.2 FTE)

Qualification and Other Requirements:
Profile:
  • Experience in combination of separation techniques with mass spectrometry, small molecule analysis; previous experience in biological sample preparation.
  • Experience in interpreting analytical data in relation to a biological model is an advantage.
  • Scientific and publication activity in pharmaceutical analysis, bioanalysis, analytical chemistry or related field is an advantage.
