            With 17 faculties in three different cities, Charles University does not have one central 
            the faculties, dorms, and refectories are spread around the city (cities, in fact), and so

            Given the spatial distribution of our university and the large number of applicants, we ar

            give private tours. Instead, CU Point [ URL "https://ukpoint.cuni.cz/IPSCEN-1.html"] offer
            guidance to both applicants and current students alike (in-person or online). It is always

            Since we are a public institution, prospective students are welcome to visit and look arou

            buildings – they are freely open to the public. You may also contact the faculty's Admissi

            representatives or student ambassadors directly. Moreover, all of our faculties hold Open

            * Welcome tour

            The Welcome Tour - tailored to the needs of guidance counsellors and high school teachers,
            opportunity for your students to discover Charles University.


            Our team of international student advisors can help you arrange a visit fitting your group
            needs, including visits to our faculties and much more. Groups of interested students and 

            applicants (10–30 people) are also welcome to join.
            The Welcome tour consists of the following elements from which you can choose from:


            • presentation of CU and its study opportunities (about 30 mins long)
            • visit to the chosen faculty (or faculties)
            • guided tour of Carolinum [ URL "UKEN-194.html "] (main seat of CU) – BOOK SEPARATELY (PA

            • visit to the University Museum [ URL "UKEN-1641.html "] (The History of CU exhibition)
            • a short walk through the city centre (Old Town)
            • lunch at the refectory (Faculty of Law) – PAID

            • guided tour of Klementinum [ URL "UKEN-1643.html "] (National Library) – BOOK SEPARATELY
            • visit to the Botanical Garden [ URL "UKEN-1642.html "] (Faculty of Science) – PAID


            The tour takes an entire day (10–17), but individual parts may be arranged separately (dep
            preferences, our staff availability, and tour capacities). The total cost for all the paid
            approx. CZK 400 per person (? EUR 17). The introductory presentation can be customised to 

            individual students and accompanying teachers or counsellors.

            Please note that the guided tours of Carolinum and Klementinum require independent booking
