Welcome Day for Postdocs: A Look Back at an Inspiring Event

On 19 February 2025, the Welcome Day for postdoctoral researchers at Charles University to
at the Hybernská Campus. Organised by the Postdoctoral Platform, the event attracted both
and experienced postdocs, offering them a unique opportunity to learn more about career de
opportunities, university support services, and to meet their new colleagues.
Participants explored open science, support for ERC grant applicants, and learned more abo
collaboration and opportunities within the 4EU+ Alliance. The event also featured a presen
training and mentoring programmes for early-career researchers at Charles University, aime
their professional growth.
The event concluded with informal networking, allowing participants to exchange experience
new contacts.
