            Since 2017, Charles University has been awarded the Donatio Universitatis Carolin? researc

            support eminent scientists who contribute to the University's professional prestige.
            However, it has become clear that this concept needs to be reformed and transformed into a
            support concept.


            The Donatio Universitatis Carolin? Chair is research support intended to contribute to the
            development of a particular field. The support aims to make the University's faculties and

            more competitive internationally by supporting researchers capable of bringing new ideas a
            approaches to their fields.


            The aim is to support (for a minimum of six months and a maximum of two years) senior rese
            with adequate experience (usually with long-term experience abroad or coming from abroad, 

            researchers, R3, i.e. eight or more years after receiving their PhD).
