Reporting Breaches of Union Law ****************************************************************************************** * ****************************************************************************************** Information on Reporting Breaches of Union Law (Whistleblowing) Within the meaning of Directive [ URL "https://eur-lex.europa.eu/legal-content/CS/TXT/PDF/ uri=CELEX:32019L1937&from=CS"] (EU) 2019/1937 of the European Parliament and of the Counci 2019 on the protection of persons who report breaches of Union law (the “Directive”), Char establishes an internal whistleblowing system. The internal whistleblowing system is used to report any illegal conduct • of which the whistleblower became aware in a work-related context, and also • which, according to the whistleblower, has threatened or harmed the public interest in t specified in the Directive (e.g. public procurement, the prevention of money laundering financing, consumer or environmental protection, or protection of the financial interest European Union).
