Rickard Enstroem ****************************************************************************************** * ****************************************************************************************** Dr. Rickard Enstroem, Ph.D., CMgr FCMI Associate Professor of Decision Sciences at MacEwan University, Triffo School of Business, Expertise and focus: I am an Associate Professor of Decision Sciences at MacEwan University in Canada. My work is interdisciplinary, drawing on management, decision sciences, engineering, and applied analytics. My research examines how people and organizations make decisions, adapt to technological change, and develop the capabilities needed to operate effectively in complex environments.   I have extensive experience in curriculum and program development, research mentoring, and academic leadership. I conceived and led the development of a new BCom minor in Business Intelligence and served as Chair of the Department of Decision Sciences for nearly a decade. I have also supervised and mentored students and early- career researchers across institutional and disciplinary boundaries. My current editorial roles include Co-Editor-in-Chief of Leadership & Organization Development Journal and Associate Editor of the Journal of Management Development and the Journal of Academic Ethics.   My teaching spans statistics, business analytics, data-driven decision-making, and computational thinking. Across my research, teaching, and editorial work, I am particularly interested in helping scholars develop theoretically clear, methodologically sound, and publishable research from interdisciplinary or emerging research problems. My mentoring has also included more informal guidance for professionals working with analytics, management, and organizational decision-making. Motivation:  I am motivated to support early-career researchers as they navigate research design, publication, and the development of their academic identities. I value structured and reflective mentoring that helps postdocs clarify their goals, strengthen their scholarly independence, and make well-grounde decisions about their research and careers.
