            Prague, 25 October 2013 – At its meeting today, the Academic Senate of Charles University 

            Tomáš Zima as its candidate for the position of Rector of the University. The proposed can
            the appointment shall be submitted by the Minister of Education to the President of the Cz

            Following the nomination, the new Rector shall assume office in February. The term of offi
            shall be four years.

            of Medicine and the General University Hospital (VFN), Vice-Dean of the Public Relations D
