            Recognition of foreign secondary education and higher education for the purposes of the ad

            - for applicants to study programmes at Charles University only
            This recognition is valid only for the purposes of admission procedure

            The previous foreign education is assessed directly by the student’s chosen faculty

            With the entry into force of the amendment to the Higher Education Act, International Bacc

            (IB) diplomas are excluded under the conditions set out in Section 48(4)(c) of the amendme
            Higher Education Act from the category of foreign secondary school documents that are asse
            the admission procedure and for which an assessment fee is collected. If applicants choose

            proving the fulfilment of the admission requirement by submitting an IB diploma after 1 Ma
            document will be automatically accepted by the faculty in the admission procedure without 
            being charged.
