            Recommended assessment criteria for granting associate professorship and for the appointme

            professorship, and the minimum requirements for content of the justification to be drawn u
            associate professorship commission and by the commission in the full professorship appoint
            including determination of essential elements of Charles University documents to be submit

            * Article 1

            ******************************************************************************************
            Based on Articles 5, 15, and 19 of the Code of Procedure for the Granting of Associate Pro
            Full Professorship of Charles University, this directive sets out:

            a.recommended assessment criteria for the procedure of granting associate professorship an
              professorship (“the Recommended Criteria”), and
            b.minimum requirements for the content of the justification to be drawn up by the associat

              commission and by the commission in the full professorship appointment procedure, as wel
              elements of documents to be submitted, which particularise the assessment of scholarly a
              qualifications, as well as the teaching competence of a candidate.

            * Article 2
            ******************************************************************************************

            1.Recommended assessment criteria serve as grounds for the steps of associate professorshi
              (the procedure for the granting of associate professorship – “habilitation procedure”), 
              commissions in the full professorship appointment procedures.

            2.The task of the commissions is to assess the data submitted by a candidate at the time t
              was commenced, as well as the candidate’s particular scholarly and pedagogical activitie
              thereto, in its report, the commission in the full professorship appointment procedure m

              mention acts and other reasons for which the candidate may be regarded as an internation
              researcher.

            Recommended assessment criteria are set out in Parts 1.1 – 1.4 [ URL "UKEN-894-

            a.Part 1.1 of the attachment hereto sets out the generally applicable assessment criteria;
            b.Part 1.2 of the attachment thereto sets out the recommended assessment criteria for huma

              sciences, and artistic-creative branches;
            c.Part 1.3 of the attachment hereto sets out the recommended assessment criteria for branc
              sciences; and

            d.Part 1.4 of the attachment hereto sets out the recommended assessment criteria for branc

            * Article 4

            ******************************************************************************************
            Minimum requirements for the content of the justification drawn up by an associate profess
            and by a commission in the full professorship appointment procedure, as well as essential 

            documents to be submitted, which particularise the assessment of the candidate’s scholarly
            qualifications, and his/her teaching competence, are set out in Parts 2.1. – 2.6. of the a
            whereas:

              minimum requirements for the justification of the opinion of the associate professorship

              requirements for attachments to the documents submitted to the Rector’s Office of Charle

              connection with the habilitation procedures;

              minimum requirements for the justification of the opinion of the commission in the full 

              appointment procedure;

            1.This directive becomes effective on 1 February 2014.
            2.The Consolidated Rector’s Directive No. 9/2014, as amended by Rector’s Directives No. 17

              26/2017 becomes effective on 1 April 2017.
