Dear International Students,

The summer semester is slowly coming to an end which means only one thing – that the newsletter you are now reading is this year's last issue. We know... We are gonna miss you, too.

If you are going to return for the next academic year, be sure to stay tuned for more exciting events. We are already planning some great opportunities for you. And we are looking forward to seeing all of you there.

Good luck with your exams, and have a wonderful summer!

Going Native

Apart from being the last month of school before the summer holidays, July also marks the opening of the festival season. The season officially commences with Prague Spring – a festival of classical music which usually takes place at the turn of May and June, followed by Votvírák (aka "Opener").

Music lovers staying in Czechia for the summer can look forward to some big gigs like Rock for People, the International Music Festival in Český Krumlov, Hip Hop Kemp or Colours of Ostrava, to name just a few. But smaller festivals are here too. Some of our favourites include Eastern Tunes, Boskovice, Hrady, and Porta. In this article, you can find an overview of most of them. And those who prefer movies over music shouldn't miss our world-famous International Film Festival in Karlovy Vary.

Until then, if you want to take a break from studying and relax a bit, you can visit one of the many open-air cinemas in Prague, Pilsen or Hradec Králové. The cinema season has already started!
