Useful Information | |
In connection with the amendment to the Higher Education Act, which came into effect on March 1, 2025, the appeal period against decisions issued in proceedings concerning the rights and obligations of students and in admission proceedings has been shortened. The appeal period is now 15 days (instead of 30 days). This applies, for example, to the following decisions: · Decision on the (non-)interruption of studies, · Decision on the (non-)recognition of fulfillment of course requirements, · Decision concerning scholarships, · Decision on the termination of studies, · Decision concerning disciplinary offenses, · Decision on (non-)admission to studies, or · Decision on the assessment of fees. Newly issued decisions will, of course, include instructions specifying the length of the appeal period. We therefore recommend that you carefully review the instructions provided in the respective decisions. For decisions issued before March 1, 2025, the appeal period remains 30 days, as stated in the instructions accompanying those decisions. If you have any questions, please contact the Student Affairs Office of your faculty. |
Student Activities | |
Student activities at Kampus Hybernská are supported or directly organized by the Studentská Hybernská initiative, which runs the Student House – a space where student clubs and initiatives can meet to work on their projects or organize talks and workshops. These associations typically focus on topics such as equal opportunities, climate change, minority rights, or simply the various aspects of student life in Prague. Since October 2024, the Gratis Market has been operating in Building B. It is an exchange corner primarily aimed at students, established by Charles University. The project operates on the principle of “take what you need, bring what you don’t.” It is open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. The space is self-service, except for larger items (such as furniture). The Gratis Market accepts everything except food and clothing. |

How can we explain the time gap between the writing of the New Testament and the events it describes? Can supernatural phenomena be explained scientifically? The main focus of the 60-minute program will be answering all your burning questions.
