SUMMARY:ABC of HPC (Introduction to High-Performance Computing)
DESCRIPTION:This intensive introductory course focuses on the principles and strategies of high-performance computing\, demonstrated on the Chimera computing cluster. You will learn how to design parallel jobs\, submit them\, and monitor their progress using the SLURM scheduler. The course covers the fundamentals of the OpenMP and MPI parallel programming paradigms\, as well as basic GPU usage. Most examples will be in Python. The course will be taught in English.
