JASSO Scholarship (Japan Student Services Organization) is intended for students who have been accepted to study at a partner university in Japan.

The scholarship, amounting to 80,000 JPY per month, is granted for study stays of up to 12 months.

Students can apply for the scholarship during the application process for the partner university abroad. Based on the submitted documentation, the host institution then decides on awarding the scholarship. It may also set the conditions for a preliminary selection of candidates from Charles University, which takes place through a faculty or university-wide selection process.
