The position is financed from ERC Starting Grant 2021 eWaveShaper (project number 101039339). The applicant will participate on the research of quantum coherent interaction between light and free electrons for various applications in advanced time-resolved electron microscopy. | |
Qualification and Other Requirements: | Ph.D. degree (or equivalent) in a relevant area. The applicant should have experimental experience in the fields of electron microscopy and electron optics (including the design and implementation of electron-optical components) and basic experience in the field of femtosecond laser physics. The applicant should present a list of relevant papers in impacted journals. We expect the ability to work in a team as well as on your own in a fast-developing environment. Interest in instrument development and programming is advantageous. |
