First, you need to decide in which language you wish to study. Our programmes in English, German, Russian, or French are all with accessible tuition fees. Those in Czech are completely tuition-free. However, bear in mind that international applicants have to meet the same admission requirements as Czech students and, additionally, some may be required to demonstrate their Czech language proficiency.

Charles University provides opportunities for applicants at every stage of their educational journey. We regularly organise a variety of summer and winter schools or lifelong education programmes in two main categories: general interest and professional programmes. These include everything from language and preparatory courses to specialisation trainings and continuing education for medical professionals, lawyers, and teachers.
Last but not least, doctoral programmes represent the highest level of formal education. To prospective doctoral candidates, we may offer 250 doctoral programmes, most of which are free of charge.
