Members of the CU Alumni Club can access the university libraries under the following conditions:
The following is required for registration at a CU library and/or for using electronic resources:
A valid CU Alumni Club ID card
Your password for the CU Central Authentication Service (CAS)
After gaining the CU Alumni Club card and changing the password for CAS, you can apply for the use of the services of Charles University libraries. You can find more information about applying for the services and the electronic application on the CU Central Library website. You can find a list of all university libraries on the web pages of the Central Library.
Electronic resources are available to all members of the CU Alumni Club (in accordance with the licensing terms) at the individual libraries and, to a limited extent, outside the libraries, using the login data for the CAS. The e-resources cover databases of e-journals, e-books, textbooks, digital tools, and others. An overview of online databases available outside the CU libraries can be found at the CU Portal of Electronic Resources. To discover more about electronic resources at CU, check out the practical guide to the ER at CU.
You can search for printed titles in the central search engine UKAŽ, which searches for printed and electronic publications. You can also use the interlibrary loan service for printed and electronic documents. More information is available in the libraries.
If you are interested in the digitised documents owned by Charles University (theses, articles, final academic works, and others), you can use Digital Repository.
