IAU

International Association of Universities was founded in 1950 and is based in Paris. The reason was the cooperation of higher education institutions and their joint representation in the world. The IAU began with the publication of an official bulletin, and later regular seminars were added. Even today, the association functions as one of the main instruments for determining the strategy of internationalization in the higher education sector and indicates the direction of development.


Currently, top priorities include university management, sustainable development, internationalization and digital transformation. More than 600 prestigious institutions in the world belong to members.



Conferences

At the annual conference, representatives of member institutions meet for the purpose of networking and exchanging good practice on the most important topics for higher education.


Conferences are also organized once a year for the of discussing the possibilities of the strategic development of universities in the future, together with the evaluation of the past period.


Consultancy

Members can request special visits and consultations on the topics of the university's third role, internationalization and innovative technologies or digitization.
