Bilateral International Agreements

Charles University supports student mobility on the basis of bilateral international agreements, i.e. treaties signed by the Czech Republic with a number of countries worldwide.

Through these agreements, students from the partner countries have the opportunity to study at higher education institutions (HEIs) in the Czech Republic, including Charles University..

If your home university is not one of Charles University’s partner institutions, such agreement may offer a good opportunity for arranging a study stay with us.

On the website of the Czech Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports, the Scholarships section includes a list of countries that have signed bilateral international agreements with the Czech Republic; it also gives more information about possibilities for study stays.
