The position is financed by the bilateral Czech-Polish grant "Superconducting nanohybrids out of equilibrium" awarded by the Czech Science Foundation for the years 2024 and 2025 with the salary in the range 50-55 thousand CZK (approximately 2100-2300 EUR). The team on the Czech side consists of 4 experienced researchers and collaborates with two Polish groups from Poznan and Lublin. |

Qualification and Other Requirements: | Postdoc in theoretical condensed matter physics, expertise in strongly correlated systems, ideally for nanoscopic superconducting hybrids. Ph.D. degree (or equivalent) in a relevant area by the starting date. Necessary requirements: knowledge of interacting impurity models and/or mesoscopic superconductivity, with methods ranging from (semi)analytical tools (many-body perturbation theory, renormalization group) to heavy numerics such as NRG or QMC. Ab-initio methods only are NOT sufficient prerequisite to join the project! |
