Postdoc in theoretical condensed matter physics, expertise in strongly correlated systems, ideally for nanoscopic superconducting hybrids. Ph.D. degree (or equivalent) in a relevant area by the starting date. Necessary requirements: knowledge of interacting impurity models and/or mesoscopic superconductivity, with methods ranging from (semi)analytical tools (many-body perturbation theory, renormalization group) to heavy numerics such as NRG or QMC. Ab-initio methods only are NOT sufficient prerequisite to join the project!

Candidates who progress to the second round of the selection procedure will be invited for an interview. The interview may be conducted by means of information and communication technology if justified, at the request of the candidate. The Committee may invite selected candidates to give a lecture to the academic community of the Faculty.
