The applicant will participate in the research of the tunable properties of ABC graphene on silicon carbide in the group of Martin Rejhon. The position is funded by the project Junior Star 2024 "Tunable graphene/SiC optoelectronics" (24-11702M) by Czech Science Foundation. We offer a well-equipped laboratory, inspiring environment, and a competitive salary. The contract can be extended upon mutual agreement. |

Qualification and Other Requirements: | Ph.D. degree or equivalent in the relevant field by the starting date, which has been obtained at most 8 years before the starting date of the position (this may be extended by the maternity or parental leave, long-term illness, taking care of a family member for more than 90 days, and military service). Hans-on experience in the preparation and characterization of 2D materials, mastering of characterization methods such as Raman spectroscopy, atomic force microscopy, basic optical and electrical measurements, etc. We require traceable publication activity in peer-reviewed journals. We expect an initiative person with capability of independent scientific work as well as the ability to work in a team. |
