Ph.D. degree or equivalent in the relevant field by the starting date, which has been obtained at most 8 years before the starting date of the position (this may be extended by the maternity or parental leave, long-term illness, taking care of a family member for more than 90 days, and military service). Hans-on experience in the preparation and characterization of 2D materials, mastering of characterization methods such as Raman spectroscopy, atomic force microscopy, basic optical and electrical measurements, etc. We require traceable publication activity in peer-reviewed journals. We expect an initiative person with capability of independent scientific work as well as the ability to work in a team.

Candidates who progress to the second round of the selection procedure will be invited for an interview. The interview may be conducted by means of information and communication technology if justified, at the request of the candidate. The Committee may invite selected candidates to give a lecture to the academic community of the Faculty.
