Postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Algebra at the field of number theory

The position will be funded by Dr. Yatsyna's project "Statistical properties of totally real number fields". The expected duration of the position is September 1, 2024–August 31, 2027 (negotiable).
Besides this position, another successful candidate may be offered a 1-year position funded by Prof. Kala's project "UFOCLAN: Universal Quadratic Forms and Class Numbers" (approx. July 1, 2024–June 30, 2025).
Strong applicants from all areas of number theory (broadly interpreted) are welcome to apply, although preference may be given to algebraic and/or computational number theory.
Teaching is negotiable. The knowledge of Czech is not required.
|Qualification and Other Requirements:||Ph.D. title received within the last 8 years (exceptions are possible in cases of parental leave and long-term sickness) by starting date, professional experience and publication record in the area, international experience.|
