The position will be in one of the following fields: cartography or geoinformatics or remote sensing, depending on the qualifications and focus of the candidate. The position includes both teaching and project/publication activities. The gross starting salary is 65,000 CZK (for full-time employment). The workload and the duration of the employment may be increased upon agreement, based on the candidate’s involvement in additional projects, which they obtain as a principal investigator or co-investigator within the department. |

| Qualification and Other Requirements: | o at least completed Ph.D. or CSc. degree in the field of geoinformatics/cartography/geography o excellent Czech and English (spoken and written) o ability to pursue internationally recognized research o ability to prepare and deliver quality lectures and seminars in the field o knowledge of programming/scripting (Python, possibly other languages) o ability to work both individually and in research team o ability and interest to undertake organizational as well as popularisation activities |
