• Ph.D. degree in musicology
• Specialization in music culture of the 13th–15th centuries, with overlaps into other areas
• Knowledge of period notation systems and Latin, enabling research work with original sources
• Experience with digital humanities and prospects for further development in this area
• Experience with international grant activities and international stays
• International publications in prestigious publishing platforms
• Prospect of commencing habilitation proceedings with the same focus within five years of commencement
• Ability to teach in Czech and English
• Experience with teaching of at least two courses at university
• Ability to perform the third role of the university (communication with the media, public lectures)

If the career development plan is required, it must aim to commence the habilitation procedure (procedure for the granting of associate professorship) no later than nine years after the expected beginning of employment.
