Academic degree Ph.D. (or equivalent) in a relevant field, professional experience in the field, positive attitude towards pedagogical work, ability to integrate scientific activities, teaching and supervising student work, constant publication activity in the field in impact journals or in equivalent and recognized journals in the field, and experience from stays at foreign workplaces. Extensive experience in processing satellite data from various types of instrumental equipment is also required, with specific experience gained from both current experiments (Parker Solar Probe, Solar Orbiter, Wind) and experiments from previous years (e.g. Helios, Ulysses) being an advantage.

Candidates who progress to the second round of the selection procedure will be invited to an interview. The interview may be conducted by means of information and communication technology if justified, at the request of the candidate. The Committee may invite selected candidates to give a lecture to the academic community of the Faculty.
