The candidate will participate in the research, development, and administration of the department's ongoing research projects and will work on expanding their own research portfolio, including participation in grant competitions and development of industrial cooperation projects. The advertised position also includes participation in teaching. The successful candidate will advise students at all levels of study and teach introductory and advanced courses in Programming and Software Systems, Software and Data Engineering, and Bioinformatics in Czech and English. In justified cases, e.g., if the applicant completes his doctoral studies in the period between the submission of the application and the date of starting the employment relationship, the applicant must provide proof of the completed doctoral studies before signing the employment contract, but no later than 9 months after the application deadline. |

Qualification and Other Requirements: | Ph.D. degree (or equivalent) in a relevant area by the starting date, proven ability to publish and participate in research and development in software projects, positive attitude towards teaching, ability to integrate scientific activities, teaching and supervision of students.Teaching in Czech and English is expected. |
