Accept our invitation to the international conference The Best Practices and Experience in Countering Foreign Interference in Academia of the USA. It is organized by Charles University under the auspices of the Rector Milena Králíčková in cooperation with the Center against Hybrid Threats of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic, the Embassy of the USA in the Czech Republic and Palacký University in Olomouc.

The international event is the only one of its kind in the Czech Republic, but also in the whole Central and Eastern Europe. In the public arena, the conference opens up the topics of harmful influence of foreign powers, points out the societal consequences of such influence and the potential international problems that the situation may escalate into. In addition to the Rector of Charles University, Prof. Milena Králíčková, the conference will feature presentations by Dr. Glenn Tiffert, Hoover Institution Fellow and specialist in the political and legal history of the People's Republic of China (PRC), and Dr. Kevin Gamache, Chief Security Officer for Research for the Texas A&M University System (the office responsible for ensuring that the 11 universities and 7 state agencies within the A&M System comply with U.S. government requirements to protect sensitive federal information).
