• Achieved a Ph.D. degree with a focus on international relations, political science, security studies and international area studies.
• Internationalization, experience with internships in foreign locations, ability to conduct applied research and collaborate with the media in support of the university's third role.
• Prospect of starting habilitation proceedings with the same focus within two years of joining.
• Proficiency in Arabic, enabling research work with original sources.
• Expertise in contemporary political, security and international political issues with a focus on the Levant.
• International publishing in prestigious publishing platforms.
• Experience in international grant making.
• Ability to teach in Czech and English and experience teaching at least two courses in English at a university.
