Don't miss an exceptional opportunity
Charles University provides a comprehensive system of support for science and research. It combines elements that have been progressively built since the 1990s with new programmes to promote excellent science to include all phases of scientific work. The system consists of several complementary university programmes. One of these programmes is the Primus competition.
Primus is a programme with the aim to encourage young researchers with international experience to establish new research groups and laboratories. Selected young scientists will be enabled to run their own independent projects over a period of four years. One of the long-term goals of the research programme is to increase the success rate of the university in attracting major international grants (e.g., European Research Council – ERC grants).
