Aneta grew up in the village of Litíč near Jaroměř with her mother, younger brother Ondra, and her grandfather. In her childhood, she dedicated her free time to Eastern dance and playing the flute. She attended Na Ostrově Elementary School in Jaroměř and continued her education at the Jaroslav Žák Grammar School, also in Jaroměř, where she graduated with honours in 2022. After graduation, she moved to Prague to study at the University of Economics. Initially, she chose tourism as her major, but it didn’t fulfil her, so she improved her English skills and then applied to the Faculty of Arts at Charles University. The Deaf Studies and Communication programme truly resonated with her and fulfilled her vision of a meaningful career.
During primary school, she was a member of the Malaika dance group for eight years. From a young age, she regularly attended youth fire crew camps at Kamenec, which she loved. Over time, she transitioned from a young (and at that time, still inexperienced) camper to an instructor, guiding new generations of campers through their summer activities. Thanks to these camps and friendships, she became a member of the Velichovky Volunteer Fire Brigade, focusing primarily on working with children, helping with community events, and representing the brigade in fire competitions.
Anyone who got to know Aneta well knew that high-altitude hiking or climbing hills wasn’t her thing. However, she loved travelling and exploring new regions, learning about their culture and traditions. She also enjoyed quiet moments—reading, painting, listening to music, and watching films and fairy tales. Christmas was always her favourite time of year, and she couldn’t imagine it without The Grinch and Frosty the Snowman. Few people knew, though, that she was also a fan of Formula 1 racing.
She was a young woman with a big heart, always thinking of others. Her willingness to help can be seen in all the activities she was involved in. When she joined the fire brigade, it was because she wanted to help others in difficult situations. When she began studying Deaf Studies and Communication, it was because she wanted to help people with disabilities communicate and make their lives easier. She shared her big heart with everyone around her.
