A Lecture by Prof. George Q. Daley, Dean of Harvard Medical School

Charles University cordially invites you to a lecture titled „A Career in Academic Medicine: Hematology and Harvard“, which will be presented by Prof. George Q. Daley, MD, PhD, the Dean of Harvard Medical School.

Profesore Daley is a world-renowned pioneer in stem cell and cancer research. His research laboratory at Boston Children's Hospital has focused on stem cell and cancer biology, with an emphasis on hematopoietic development and diseases of the bone marrow, blood and immune system. Prior to becoming Dean at the Harvard Medical School, he was the investigator of the Howard Hughes Medical Institute and Director of the Pediatric Stem Cell Transplantation Program of the Dana Farber Cancer Institute and Boston Children's Hospital. He is an elected member of the National Academy of Medicine and the American Academy of Arts and Sciences.

The lecture will take place on Tuesday, March 12 at 1 p.m. in the Hall of Patriots of the Carolinum, Ovocný trh 3, Prague 1.
