The Charles University Thesis and Dissertation Repository is a database of theses and dissertations of Charles University students, established in compliance with Section 47b of Act 111/1998 Sb. on higher education institutions (as amended), which makes the theses and dissertations of Charles University students publicly available as required by Article 18a of the Charles University Study and Examination Code.

The repository can be accessed either:

• without logging in (anonymous access) – this type of access allows users to search and browse data relating to theses and dissertations but not to display their full texts, appendices and annexes, or reviews; or

• after logging in – this type of access allows users to search and browse data relating to theses and dissertations and to display their full texts appendices and annexes, and reviews. It is possible to log into the repository using either the login details from the Charles University Central Authentication Service (this applies to Charles University students, staff etc.), or special login details acquired after registering by filling in this form (applies to other users of the repository).

Note: Theses and dissertations defended since 29 September 2010 have been entered into the repository immediately after the defence. Theses and dissertations defended between 1 January 2006 and 1 January 2010 will be added gradually during 2010-2014.
