Professional profile:
Graduated in Chemistry with a specialisation in organic synthesis from the Faculty of Science, CU. Later he focused on education and studied chemistry teaching there. He is interested in research-oriented teaching and activating teaching methods. He has participated in or organised popularisation events for high school students (Children's Science Conferences, Science Around Us, Chemistry Weekend). During his studies, he was active in academic self-government and social activities (chairman of the Social and Study Committee of the Academic Senate at CU, vice-chairman of the Academic senate) and since 2018 he has been a member of the Internal Evaluation Council at the University. In 2016, he and his colleagues organised a commemoration of 17 November in Prague's Albertov, for which they subsequently received the Miloslav Petrusek Award for Presentation.
