Univerzita Karlova společně s Filozofickou fakultou UK bere na vědomí dnes zveřejněnou Závěrečnou zprávu Vyšetřovací komise Poslanecké sněmovny ke střelbě na Filozofické fakultě Univerzity Karlovy dne 21. 12. 2023. Zprávu Vyšetřovací komise vnímáme jako další krok k objasnění okolností tragické události, která zasáhla Filozofickou fakultu UK i celou akademickou obec v České republice.

Vzhledem k rozsahu zprávy je potřeba určitý čas k důkladnému prostudování a vyhodnocení jejích závěrů, aby bylo možno případně formulovat stanovisko ke zprávě nebo k jejím částem.

Statement of Charles University and the Faculty of Arts of Charles University on the Final Report of the Commission of Inquiry of the Chamber of Deputies

Charles University together with the Faculty of Arts of Charles University takes note of the Final Report of the Investigative Commission of the Chamber of Deputies on the shooting at the Faculty of Arts of Charles University on 21 December 2023, published today. We see the Report of the Investigative Commission as a further step towards clarifying the circumstances of the tragic event that affected the Faculty of Arts of Charles University and the entire academic community in the Czech Republic.

Given the scope of the report, some time is needed to thoroughly study and evaluate its conclusions in order to formulate an opinion on the report or parts of it, if necessary.
