Previous mentoring experience:

During my time at New York University in Abu Dhabi (NYUAD), United Arab Emirates, I guided several Master's and PhD students. I am currently leading research projects in the Laboratory of Biology of the Cell Nucleus. Additionally, I served as a scientific consultant for bioengineering students and was a member of capstone committees, supporting students in their projects

Motivation:

I believe this can be mutually beneficial: for me, it offers the opportunity to meet prospective future scientists who may become collaborators, and for students, a chance to explore and discuss advancements and prospects in biology that were either impossible or much more challenging when I was a student. It also serves as valuable training for me, as it encourages me to step outside my comfort zone and engage in discussions about projects beyond my own.
