In the Open Science workshop, you will learn the basic principles of open science and strategies for ensuring open access to your scientific publications while increasing their reusability.

The workshop will focus on the following key areas:
Principles and benefits of open science,
Open publishing strategies,
Basics of copyright and licensing, with a particular focus on Creative Commons licenses.

The Open Science course is part of the spring training series for early-career researchers at Charles University. A total of 10 specialized courses are offered, based on the European Competence Framework for Researchers. The courses are designed for postdoctoral researchers and research assistants across disciplines, with some also open to Ph.D. students. They are conducted in English and open to all interested participants, not just international colleagues.
