In the 22nd round of the GA UK competition, 818 new applications were submitted. During the evaluation period, 3 applications were withdrawn at the request of the proposers. Therefore, a total of 815 applications for new projects were evaluated, amounting to 191,394 thousand CZK.
A total of 487 applications for project continuation were submitted, amounting to 115,032 thousand CZK (including suspended projects).
GA UK had a total of 172,917 thousand CZK available for distribution among new and continuing projects.
A total of 748 projects have been supported with a total amount of 172,080 thousand CZK. This amount was distributed among 261 new projects with 59,268 thousand CZK and 487 ongoing projects with 112,812 thousand CZK.
The success rate for newly accepted projects in the 22nd round of the GA UK competition was 32%.

All proposers were informed about the funding or rejection of their project via an automatic email sent from the application to the email address provided in the project application.
Project contracts are signed by the principal investigators at their respective faculties. Faculties inform their investigators to come and collect and sign the contract.
For questions regarding the use of financial resources, investigators should also contact their faculty's science department.
21th Round (2024)
The Grant Board and the Department Boards finished evaluating the projects for the 21th Round of the GA UK and will announce the projects accepted for funding upon approval from the Rector’s Board.
291 projects out of 911 submitted new projects were accepted for funding in 2024.
The success rate for new projects was 32%.
Furthermore, 492 projects continuing were accepted.
Overall, GA UK supported 783 grant projects in the 21th grant round.
The final budget could be reduced due to the financial situation of the GAUK.
All proposers will receive an email.
IT support is now preparing the contracts. Faculties will invite the researchers to sign the contract.
20th Round (2023)
The Grant Board and the Department Boards finished evaluating the projects for the 20th Round of the GA UK and will announce the projects accepted for funding upon approval from the Rector’s Board.
313 projects out of 916 submitted new projects were accepted for funding in 2023. The success rate for new projects was 34,2%.
Furthermore, 465 projects continuing out of 466 were accepted.
Overall, GA UK supported 778 grant projects in the 20th grant round.
