Authorized holders:

Charles University students enrolled in accredited degree programmes, including programmes taught in a foreign language.

Validity:

The card is normally valid throughout the length of your studies at Charles University; however, maximum validity is nine years from the beginning of the calendar year following the date of issue. Switching to another degree programme or faculty does not affect the validity of your card. When you finish or interrupt your studies, you must return your card to the University; when the period of interruption has elapsed, the card will be returned to you free of charge.

- CU Student Card

- CU-ISIC Student Card (CU card merged with the International Student Identity Card format) for full-time student

- CU-ALIVE Student Card for students studying in a distance/combined form of study

Any student can only be issued with one CU Student Card.

CZK 320 - CU-ALIVE Student Card

Extending the validity of your CU card as an International Student Identity Card (indicated by a hologram sticker on its reverse side) also costs CZK 320 (this sum is used to cover the overhead costs of the ISIC scheme). If you ask for a replacement of your simple CU card with a CU-ISIC/ALIVE card, the replacement will be free of charge.

Subject to agreement with the given faculty or other part of the University, the cards may also be temporarily distributed by a mobile card service.

Card replacement is free of charge if necessitated by a change in personal data or malfunction due to technical failure for which the holder is not responsible.
